Georgia Native SHRUBBY ST. JOHNSWORT. Hypericum prolificum. A shrub growing up to 7 feet tall. Three to seven flowers in each cyme, small, yellow petals ½-¾ inch long with numerous stamens. Found in habitats from wet lowlands to dry cliffs and ridge tops.

Georgia Native – Spider lily (Hymenocallis caroliniana) blooms in the summer and grows naturally in moist areas.  The stout bulb produces strap-like leaves and a flower stalk that has 5 or 6 flowers. Another native lily is the CAROLINA LILY. Lilium michauxii.
